Designer Tip: Find the middle of the ribbon and waxed cord and tie an overhand knot. String 3 sea glass rondelles (a mix of green and turquoise) on one side of the waxed cord, string one of the large hole components (either a boro spacer or a Kazuri rondelle) over both the ribbon and the cord, and string three more sea glass beads onto the cord. Tie an overhand knot with both the cord and the ribbon about 2 inches from the first knot. Work slowly when tightening the knot, tightening first the ribbon and then the cord (the ribbon stretches but the cord does not). Repeat for a total of 4 large hole components and 4 additional knots on either side of the center knot. Trim the waxed cord about 1/16 inch from the last knot on each side and use a lighter to melt the tip to seal. Note that the arrangement of the large hole components is random but it is important that the boro spacers NOT be 7 inches apart so they are spread out if the piece is worn as a wrap bracelet. See our video on using our wrap bracelet planning grid for more information on how to design a multi-wrap bracelet. Use the ends to tie on as either a necklace or wrap bracelet to the desired length.
