These beautiful recycled paper beads are handcrafted in Northern Uganda. Experienced artisans, rich color saturation, and eco-friendly water-based lacquer is what sets ‘Paper to Pearls’ apart.

Since 2006, they have empowered marginalized women in Northern Uganda to improve their lives and those of their families. The Paper to Pearls beaders have become outstanding artisans.

Please keep in mind that the lacquer makes the beads water resistant and not water proof ~ take care not to get them too wet in order to maintain the integrity of the beads.
