Fred and Deb Becker started Clay River Designs in 1973 by combining their talents for color and design with the skill Fred had acquired from studying refined clay techniques. Their home/studio is located on the high, wide plains of Northeastern Colorado, in a region known as the state’s leading cattle, grain, and sugar beet producer.

The Beckers pride themselves in producing beautiful products with a fine-art quality. Their inspiration comes to life in their artistic porcelain beads.
